English Couples Counselling and
Couples Therapy in Konstanz
and Online
I offer couples counselling in English for international and bilingual couples. As a person who lives in a bilingual partnership myself, I am aware of the unique challenges that come with intercultural relationships. On this page, you will find the relevant information on my work to help you decide if couples counselling is an option for you and your individual situation.
My Offer
My services are aimed at heterosexual and queer couples as well as individuals who wish to explore and reflect on their relationship or partnership dynamics.
Process and Fees
After a free initial consultation, we meet either online in a secure video space or in person at my practice in Wollmatinger Straße, Konstanz.
The fee for a 90-minute couples session is €85 (including VAT).
The Systemic Approach
In my practice, I work with a systemic perspective. This means we take a close look at the dynamics that keep relationship challenges in place. Often, even small changes within the system can make a big difference.
About me
I’m Leonie Seibel, born in 1992 near Lake Constance.
I’ve always been interested in (pop) culture and its impact on us and our relationships. In 2012, I began studying Cultural Studies in Vienna, Lund, and Lüneburg. After finishing school and during my studies, I supported young adults with disabilities in their daily lives in various institutions. I then worked for several years as a media education specialist at the University of Potsdam. In 2021, I started my training in systemic counseling and therapy, which I completed in 2024.
I regularly participate in advanced training in couples and sex therapy and receive professional supervision for my work.
My Offer: Couples Counseling in English or German — Online or In Person in Konstanz
Couples counseling can be helpful at any stage of a relationship, not only during major crises. Taking a closer look at recurring patterns, unspoken rules, and the “invisible relationship contract” can strengthen your connection even in calmer times.
Significant life events such as the birth of a child, infidelity, or other transitions often disrupt the status quo and require couples to realign their dynamic. In these moments, couples counseling offers structured support.
In a confidential, non-judgmental space, we sort through challenges together. The focus is on expressing and listening, understanding and being understood. The aim is to strengthen your relationship in a sustainable way.
I offer systemic couples counseling in English or German, either online or in person in Konstanz. The systemic approach focuses on your unique relationship dynamics and helps create lasting change.
Online Couples Counselling
There are many good reasons to choose online couples counselling. Busy schedules, long-distance relationships or limited mobility make the digital setting a flexible and practical option. I also use specific online tools and methods that aren’t possible in an in-person setting.
How Online Counseling Works
Once we’ve scheduled a free initial consultation via email, you’ll receive an invitation to an online meeting through the secure, GDPR-compliant video conferencing platform WebPrax.
To make the most of your session, please ensure you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space where you won’t be disturbed. I recommend logging in a few minutes early to check your technical setup so we can start right on time.
My work is…
flexible
Sessions are available until 7 p.m., either online or in person. Early morning appointments can be arranged upon request. If you haven’t been able to find childcare for your baby, you’re welcome to bring them along — we’ll make it work together.
individual
Every relationship is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. The answers lie within you — in your shared story, your specific strengths, and often hidden beneath the layers of everyday challenges.
LGBTQ+ inclusive
I am mindful of the specific challenges that queer relationships face within a society that remains hostile toward queer identities in many areas.
Systemic Couples Counselling views relationships as a dynamic interaction between two (or more) individuals, their personal histories, values, and experiences. Every couple brings its own patterns — ideas about roles, intimacy, conflict, family, or sexuality.
Instead of focusing on blame, the systemic approach aims to understand these patterns: What exactly happens during a conflict when partners withdraw or talk past each other? Which needs and fears lie beneath the surface? And what alternative ways of relating might be possible?
Through targeted questions and new perspectives, systemic couples counselling helps couples recognize unhelpful patterns and develop new ways of connecting. Even small shifts within the relationship system can lead to meaningful and lasting change.
